AWARDS & RECOGNITION FOR MEETING THE PRO BONO INITIATIVE

The SCCBA is committed to acknowledging individual lawyers and law firms who participate in the SCCBA Pro Bono Initiative at a variety of different levels as outlined below. For an explanation of the award or recognition for a particular category, click on the name of the category below:

Signing the pro bono initiative pledge

Increasing Pro Bono Participation substantially over the prior year but not necessarily meeting the pro bono pledge requirement completely

Meeting and/or Exceeding the pro bono initiative pledge requirements for a period of one year 

Meeting and/or Exceeding the pro bono initiative pledge requirements for a period of more than one year, such as five years or ten years

Sustaining an extraordinary commitment to pro bono service over a continuous period of time

Signing the Pro Bono Initiative Pledge:

• Signatories will be identified by a “heart” graphic next to their membership directory listing
• Signatories will be listed as a group in the annual Legal Directory
• Signatories will be listed on the ProbonoMatch.org website
• Signatories will be periodically published in the SCCBA Daily Journal monthly newsletter
