ABA Pro Bono Directory
The American Bar Association lists programs across the
Country that offer pro bono opportunities. The site is searchable by
state.
CALegalAdvocates
CALegalAdvocates.org is an on-line community for all those working
to ensure access to justice for low-income Californians. Membership
is open to legal services staff, pro bono advocates, court staff,
law students, and others who are directly working on access to
justice issues.
Corporate Pro Bono
Corporate Pro Bono (CPBO) is a national pro bono partnership project
of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and the Pro Bono
Institute (PBI). It provides resources for in-house corporate
counsel seeking to do pro bono work. Through online services,
technical assistance to the in-house community, and educational
outreach, CPBO encourages and supports the participation of in-house
counsel in pro bono legal services.

Institute
The Pro Bono Institute, housed at Georgetown University, is mandated
to explore and identify new approaches to - and resources for - the
provision of legal services to the poor, disadvantaged, and other
individuals or groups unable to secure legal assistance to address
critical problems. In doing so, the Institute identifies and
develops innovative programs and undertakes rigorous evaluations to
ensure that the proposals and methods identified are workable in the
real world of law practice and legal services delivery.
Pro Bono Net/CA
Pro Bono Net California is dedicated to supporting pro bono
statewide. This site is also the statewide gateway to regional pro
bono sites for areas such as San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Public Interest
Clearing House
The Public Interest Clearinghouse (PIC) exists to bridge the
"justice gap" and improve the administration of justice for our
state�s most vulnerable people. As the hub of statewide coordination
to increase access to justice, PIC cultivates partnerships between
legal aid organizations, law schools and students, private
attorneys, the State Bar, the Courts and others, to proactively
devise strategies to address gaps in the delivery of legal aid.
PIC�s main areas of focus are: training, advocacy and other support
to legal aid advocates; state planning and coordination within the
broader legal community; encouraging and facilitating law student
pro bono; and, harnessing technology developments to leverage
resources and eliminate barriers to justice.
Silicon Valley
Campaign for Legal Services
The Silicon Valley Campaign For Legal Services is an annual campaign
program dedicated to raising funds to augment current contributions
to Silicon Valley legal service agencies, which provide legal
services to Silicon Valley�s disadvantaged residents. The purpose of
these funds is to increase the effectiveness and ability of these
legal agencies to assist our disadvantaged residents with the most
critical of legal issues.

State Bar of California Pro Bono Resources
